Ascent: 650m. The day before we’d climbed Geal Charn, a Munro in the Monadhliath mountains. The moderate to easy slopes of the SW ridge lead to a path from Garva Bridge and the gentle slopes of the broad NW ridge leads to the high moorland of the Monadhliath plateau. This was one I'd been a bit meh about doing, but it turned out to be a fabulous walk, thanks to the weather, and a waaaay better mountain than I'd expected.
